A WIFE and mum has said she will be eternally grateful to the emergency services after they saved her husband and son following a "horrific" car crash.

On September 16 at around 6.35pm, the two-car crash took place on the A4103 at Fromes Hill.

Firefighters from Malvern attended to help free patients from the vehicles as well as police, a MERIT trauma doctor and a paramedic officer. The Midlands Air Ambulance also attended but was not used.

Netty Turner said: "I would like to thank all of the emergency services who helped my husband, Nigel Turner, and son, Xander Turner, when they had their horrific car accident on the Fromes Hill.

"I didn't know what I would find when I got to Birmingham Children's ward and was told they couldn't tell me if Xander was going to be ok.

"It was the same when I went to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham to see my husband. But they are both doing great and are home.

"They both have months of healing for all their fractures on skulls, ribs, and Xander's pelvis, etc but we are told they will make a full recovery.

"So thank you to all of the emergency services who attended the crash on September 16 at Fromes Hill. I am eternally grateful to you all."

A 27-year-old man, the third patient, was believed to have sustained a fractured wrist and was taken to hospital in Worcester after being given pain relief.
