A DINER in a Hereford pub's beer garden was threatened by a man with a knife.

Police said on Monday, March 12 just after midday a group of men were sat eating food at a table in the beer garden at The Imperial Pub in Widemarsh Street.

These men were approached by two other males and a verbal argument took place.

It is then believed that one of the men put on a balaclava and threatened one of the men eating food with a knife, pinning him against a fence.

Police are appealing for witnesses and have issued CCTV images of potential witnesses they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.
