A DUDLEY resident has had a terrific Tuesday after winning £2,000 with the People’s Postcode Lottery.
The Limepit Lane winner, who plays with the postcode DY1 3DS, saw the daily prize money doubled on April 24 as they played with two tickets.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador, Danyl Johnson, was on hand to offer his congratulations.
He said: “I’m thrilled for our winner in Dudley and I hope they have a great time spending their prize.
"Make sure you sign up with your postcode to be in with a chance of winning.”
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised £291 million to date for 4,000 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
One good cause that players have helped to support is Dudley Mind, which was awarded £17,350 last year to deliver a number of activities, including creative writing sessions, music classes and gardening, to help local people manage their mental health issues.
