Police after fruit-pinchers in Bidford
POLICE in Alcester are appealing for information after a “scrumping” incident in Bidford.
A Yellow van parked in Wharrad Close, Bidford, and the occupants were seen to help themselves to fruit off a tree on private land.
They then stood at the back of the van for a few minutes with the door open.
A police spokesman said that the men were not seen to do anything else but there were concerns that the hungry fruit-pinchers were scoping out the area.
The last three letters of the registration number was 'FNM'.
The incident happened around 8.50pm on Sunday, July 8.
