HIGH visibility vests have been given to youngsters by a building company.

 Cameron Homes, which is providing a new housing development in Pinvin, near Pershore, has handed over a £200 cheque and mini high visibility vests to the community pre-school group.

The vests will be worn by the children, aged from two to four, so that the can be clearly seen by traffic when they go on outings around the village.

Hana Malins, business support co-ordinator for the pre-school, which is a registered charity, thanked Cameron for the donation.

She said: “We are very grateful – the vests will make our trips much safer and the £200 donation will go towards our fund-raising efforts for a new premises.”

The group is based at Pinvin Memorial Hall, which is being condemned.

Danielle Gadsby, of Cameron Homes, said that the firm was happy to help out as part of its community involvement work. 

The company recently opened an office in Stratford-upon-Avon and is building 40 new properties at the ‘Hayfields’ development in Upton Snodsbury Road in Pinvin.
