ROSS Road in Hereford is due to be repaired this afternoon following a burst water pipe.

A Welsh Water spokeswoman said the reinstattion work on the road was booked for 2.30pm today.

There is currently a hole in the road after emergency pipe repair works were carried out on Tuesday night.

Temporary traffic lights at the junction with Bullingham Lane are currently in place.

The temporary lights have been causing longer delays than usual for drivers travelling to and from the north of the county.

The spokeswoman was unable to say how long the work would take this afternoon.
