A FIRE at a home in Bourton-on-the-Water resulted in two women being treated by paramedics.
Fire crews were called to Station Road at 9.02am on Wednesday, August 30 after reports of a fire in a first-floor bedroom.
One female was treated for smoke inhalation on the scene by ambulance crews and another 73-year-old woman from a neighbouring property was treated for shortness of breath.
According to Gloucestershire County Council, the blaze caused 25 per cent damage to the room, while fire fighters left the property at 12.09pm.
The cause of the fire is being treated as accidental and not suspicious.
Three appliances attended – two from Stow-on-the-Wold and one from Northleach.
