SHIPSTON Medical Centre hosted a well-attended information sharing event at the Townsend Hall.
The event was organised by the practice’s older people’s team with support and funding from the League of Friends of Shipston on Stour Hospitals.
It was aimed to provide information and advice covering a range of services that help support older people in maintaining health, wellbeing and independence.
Organisers Heidi Williams and Janet Flynn, community nurses for older people, and Jeanneatte Wheeler, Older People’s service administrator, invited a range of organisations who displayed information including provision of personal care, falls prevention, aids to support daily living and local groups and societies.
