STOW is set to get a taste of the Alps next month, when the Cotswold’s first Après-Ski bar opens its doors at The Old Stocks Inn.
The bar, which opens on Friday December 1 with an invitation launch party, will offer a wide selection of continental beers, mulled wine and delicacies including Bratwurst sausages and Smörgåsbords – Swedish sharing platters.
Charlotte Tuck, general manager at the Old Stocks Inn, said: “We’re really excited to be launching our new Après-Ski bar, bringing a taste of the Alps right here to Stow-on-the-Wold.
“Both tourists and locals alike can find a seat and snuggle up with a woolly blanket, next to our firepit. It’s a great way to spend an evening with friends, family or colleagues.”
The Après-Ski bar, which is open from 3pm to 10pm daily, until January 3 is also available for private hire for groups of up to 25 people.
