RESIDENTS and staff at a Ludlow care home have held a summer fete to help two good causes.
Residents and staff of Hagley Place Care Home in Ludlow worked hard to hold a fete to raise money for Ludlow Carers Group and Parkinson's UK.
Residents made cards and cake for the stalls and families donated various items for the raffle and tombola.
The chefs of Hagley Place organised and hosted a barbecue which was a popular attraction for the visitors. Stephanie Evans, the head housekeeper, manned the Pimms stall.
Miranda Cowan, Hagley Place’s resident ambassador looked after the tombola and the white elephant stalls while welcoming the visitors with a broad smile.
The crowds were entertained by ‘Misty Duo’ a local four-piece band which played classic songs from the 40s and 50s.
Hagley Place raised £393.75 which will be split between Ludlow Carers Group and Parkinson's UK Charities.
