THERE is a plan to involve schools in Ludlow and the surrounding area more closely than ever in the town’s ‘in bloom’ bid later this year.
Plans will be revealed shortly but students and younger children are expected to have a part of play in part of the displays that will be shown to judges when they visit the town in the summer.
Ludlow will be bidding to secure another gold award to add to its long list and Vivienne Parry has said that involving young people and the community is a very important part of the judging criteria.
When the judges come to Ludlow in July they will be taken on a tour and will see the work of the children and meet some of them as part of the visit.
