A NEW book featuring a treasure-trove of images of the city as you’ve never seen it before is launching today.
Former city journalist-turned-author Bob Blandford has created a unique collection of 400 photographs from Victorian Worcester, digitally enhanced and superimposed onto precisely the same scenes today.
Bob Backenforth’s Worcester Pubs Then and Now Vol III – Bob’s fourth book – includes 250,000 words and is being launched at the Chestnut Inn from 5pm.
It is also available as a companion to his previous best-sellers, Volumes 1 & 2 and The Spike: the lives, the crimes and violent times of Worcester City Police at the Hive and Waterstones.
