EACH month the Worcester News will publish a Dog of the Month, from Birch Hill Dog Rescue Centre, which has a fundraising store in Reindeer Court, New Street, Worcester.

January's featured dog is eight-year-old happy and healthy Staffie Wotsit.

She is described as happy girl who loves a fuss and a cuddle.

She is called Wotsit because she was chubby and orange as a puppy.

She can live with children aged 12 plus, but would prefer to be the only pet in the house as she hasn't lived with other animals before and likes all the toys to herself.

She is looking for a active home as she still has lots of energy and really enjoys her toys, especially chasing after balls. She is used to people being around for most of the day, so can not be left for more than four hours at a time.

Wotsit was handed over to the rescue centre on December 23, due to her owner's ill health.
