A CLOSED shoe shop has reopened under new owners.
Footwear firm Pavers has set up a 'pop-up' store in the old Jones Bootmaker site, in The Shambles, Worcester.
A cracked window is currently being replaced at the property and plans are in place to refit the shop in April.
Store manager Brian Mcgawl, aged 54, said: "The window was cracked before we moved in.
"The day after we moved in it cracked across the whole window. It's roughly 30ft wide.
"It's massive because it just looks awful. People still think we are closing down. A new window is getting put in within the next fortnight.
"A special lorry is bringing it down. I was told it [the glass] will be ready on February 26."
Mr Mcgawl said he did not know the cause of the crack.
The Jones Bootmaker store closed in early September and Pavers set up its 'pop-up' shop in the property on Thursday, November 30.
