FANS of the soap Hollyoaks will be pleased to hear which stars are heading to Worcester for a charity football match.
The confirmed actors are team captain Nick Pickard who plays Tony; Ricky Whittle who plays Calvin; Anthony Quinlan who plays Gilly; Ashley Taylor-Dawson who plays Darren and Nico Mirallegro who plays Newt. Four more players are still to be announced.
The Hollyoaks team will be pitted against a team of local celebrities, who include England cricketer Phil Newport, ex-Worcester Warrior Gareth Hughes and former West Bromich Albion striker Cyrille Regis.
The match kicks off at Worcester City Football Club in St George's Lane at 3pm on Saturday and proceeds will be donated to Worcester-based charity Leukaemia CARE, which provides care and support to those affected by leukaemia.
Tickets for the match, which has become an annual fixture for the city, are still available priced £10 for adults and £5 for under-16s.
