A FALLEN Worcestershire soldier is to be repatriated to the United Kingdom, tomorrow.
Brave 18-year-old Robbie Laws, of Bromsgrove, died in a rocket propelled grenade attack on his vehicle in battle-torn Afghanistan on Saturday, July 4.
The former South Bromsgrove High School pupil was serving with the 2nd Battalion, The Mercian Regiment.
His body and those of other soldiers killed in fighting are to be flown back to RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire at about noon, tomorrow.
Mr Laws’ family are set to be at the airbase during the service.
A group of about 20 friends were planning to travel to the town of Wootton Bassett, near the RAF base, where it has become tradition for residents to line the street as the bodies of the fallen servicemen and women make the final journey home.
The hearses are due to arrive in the town at about 2pm, subject to the length of the ceremony at RAF Lyneham.
