I agree entirely with Tim Weller about Grange Road island, I live yards from it and it's a disgrace.

As for the council saying it's a health and safety issue, what load of rubbish.

If the council would do something with it no one has to walk over onto the island to see it.

The biggest health and safety issue is trying to cross the roads round the island, you take your life in your hands. It's a wonder no one has been killed, mainly Manor Way it is so dangerous to cross there.

The island wouldn't cost much to do.

Why don't they put ground cover firs with chippings round them, they need no maintenance at all.

Doesn't anybody care any more how the place looks?

Grange Road island is the gateway to Halesowen and it must be the worst island in the country.

If it was in front of the councillors homes it would have got done years ago. It is a bad reflection on Dudley Council.

I'll keep hoping.
