The stretch of the River Stour near Seth Somers Park sadly has be dead since the floods several years ago.
When I moved here 19 years ago it was beautiful with the river full of fish, minnows but now there is not even bugs or insects which shows how dead the river is.
We used to hear woodpeckers and see kingfishers but sadly no more.
I would love that stretch of the river to get back to the way it was but with the pollution and fertiliser being used in area it might not ever happen.
Nick Roberts.
