A 58-year-old man is due to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court today after a Lothian and Borders Police armed response team was called in following an alleged shotgun incident in Lauder on Saturday.
The team was mobilised following an incident during which shots were allegedly fired. Police ordered neighbours to stay inside their homes until the situation was resolved. No-one was hurt.
