Hypocrites on immigration

The inconsistency and hypocrisy in our position is that we wish an open door policy for those immigrants who are skilled and valued or who are white and wealthy.

We are not so happy to have the stranger come to our shores if that visitor is black, poor, unskilled or seeking refuge and safety from our crimes of aggression in Iraq and Afghanistan.

We conveniently overlook the fact that the vast majority of men, women and children who are escaping our bombs, rockets and drones are taken in by some of the poorest countries like Pakistan, Syria, Jordan and other Arab/Muslim nations.

What is even more immoral is that we think we have the God-given right to jet around wherever we like on this globe and no-one is going to stop us.

But we don't like it when these damn foreigners think they can settle in our so pure and white England. How dare they!

We can over-populate this planet with our high-living, high-impact lifestyles; we can act like the old colonial masters that we once were; but, we're not going to let them lot do it. No way!

What is the matter with us?

Tim Weller, Halesowen

We cant keep having just anyone come in to this country, we are a small island with limited room and funds. We cant keep funding all who wish to come here and build them homes on this once green country, we are losing our green lands to make way for more housing, we are losing money to pay out to lose who wish to claim off our state and that goes for the lazy british people, no one should be able to claim unless they are willing to pay in to the pot from inside or outside of the country.
We already pay out £40million a day just to be a member of the EU we dont need this expensive membership, we could put this to better use, schools, hospitals, the elderly etc.
Support UKIP to get out of the EU and to stop ALL who wish to sponge off our taxes, which have to keep being increased to support the extra coming to this country and the lazy of this country.

Yet more anti-British bile from Mr Weller. Don't you ever get bored of trotting out the same rubbish time and time again? If you despise this country so much the please leave. I am sure many readers will be happy to chip in for a one way boat ticket for you!

I last made comments on us feeding the world from our doorsteps as opposed to from afar which is what we used to do and was chastised by a certain union member of Unison?
What I say is, if you want to really know if people think your style of thinking, then go up at the next election, the result will either inspire you to go further or know that it was a no goer in the first place. We are in a recession and we feed our own first, anything over goes into the bank for the next recession, called prudence a word BROWN USES but doesn't mean?-Now, I got my answer in the ballot box and came second to Tory, Labour third, Green Party forth and last was BNP, my votes were three times more than the one's behind me. Now, do the one's behind me continue next election forcing their ideas on people that do not agree, or take the ballot as being a no-goer, myself doubling my votes this time compared with the last is an inspiration. Whilst waiting for the next election I will continue helping residents through our newly formed Clent Alliance on floods, pot holes, bus service etc, the other party's will be forgotten they only come out as an election comes near pushing their ideas on people(never ask first as I did) and that says it all?...Now if you look, there's now three messages on this board and all are negative to the issue in hand, so Mr Weller, take from that a ballot has been cast and you lost...3-0, I do not want to stop any further dialogue on this issue, but it is very important to the people that live here and work hear and pay taxes here that they see fairness-I for one do not like paying taxes in a recession when I could do with it myself, but our gov't still wants the taxes to pay to people that do not work, it's called the socialist idea gone banana's-We get destitute paying THESE taxes, fuel bills, nhs stamps, whilst the idle get it free?...if the ecconomy is going downhill, more like standing at the bottom now and looking up the hill, then continuing as we are will keep us there or get worse. Next year will show more houses being taken back, these houses go very cheap to pay off the loan, the rich then pick them up for pea nuts and then rent them either direct back to us or through a Housing Trust, meanwhile council’s continue spending and so does this gov’t. We have to make change and voting in the same charlatans will not do it, we couldn’t wait to see the back of Tory in 1997 and welcomed labour with no tax increases, now we want Tory back again, we should not vote as the pendulum swings, we should vote on what is promised and I would like to see contracts in future not promises or why have an election system that collects votes on a policy and then ignores it. New kids on the block should now appear, the present rich and powerful that fiddle us and get away with it will continue to only work for themselves whilst using our tax money to achieve it. Expenses fiddles or fiddling a dole application sees a fine and imprisonment, no good saying I thought I could claim like an MP or asylum seeker that would get away with it…..so stop talking and get it right and you won’t get it right forcing ideas on people through these boards…get out on the streets show your face and not an email, it’ll make a man of you or make you go back home and curl up and admit, perhaps this is not for me after all??

You are welcome to view and add to our Clent Alliance web site if you are a Clent resident...the work of the Clent Alliance is varied in tackling issues that the councils ignore, we are about to extend the alliance soon to all wards in the Clent Hills division, this then making the cause stronger and to show that party politics is becomming the past..past elections now showing this with only Tory now with it's head just above the parapet and independents now jostling for equal or a better placing.

Another hate letter from Mr Weller. So removing the Taliban and the genocide of Saddm Hussein were acts of aggression? Its people like you, the apologists for terror and violence who are the problem today. People are fleeing from Iraq and Afghanistan from the insurgents and terrorists who you so admire. Brave men are dying to try and bring peace to those countries whilst Weller preaches hate.
Whats the obsession with the colour of immigrants skin? Most of us just want immigrtaion stopped colour is not an issue (most immigrants now are white East Europeans). If you want to preach hatred based on skin colour perhaps you should join the BNP Tim?

UKIP, thank you for the invitation, I did beleong to UKIP but felt I would get further as a sole independent. I agree with much of UKIP, none of Labour, same amount of Tory, others will say anything to get elected. I want out of Europe so UKIP got my vote the the Euro. I want not policies that are thrown to one side as soon as gettingf elected, I want guarantees that a party/person will try for what he/her was voted in on. I will be doing excatly that come the District election in 2 years. People want to see things happening in their area, they don't want loose talk which is what we get from Tory up here in Clent-they last 1600 votes this election and I doubled mine-I work all the time, issues galour, other candidates are here today and gone tomorrow. Was very grass root Tory, but they are a fair weather party, take the work from you and then ignore you and the electorate afterwards. When i lived in Quinton I asked for support to get security gates on all alley ways leading to p[eoples rear houses, Tory ignored, but I did it on my own getting the grants from the ale of B'ham airport?-I know I can do better on my own becuase no one stops my thinking-perhaps it could be The Clent Alliance Party in the future, who knows, but people are very interested in my Alliance and it will be a way of brionging people together, Tory says it will give us it will give us community adhesion, what's that exactly-they don't know theirselves...Allian
ce is adhesion...if elected I will work with anyone to get the right result, so I will mix and match, you are therefore stronger in your resolve?

No problem Independent of Romsley, I have the same type of thinking as yourself thats why I'm trying to get elected, I want to work for the people and hope to get the members of other party's working together instead of against each other just because they represent someone else. We have a local meeting on the 16th July if you want to come along and talk to a the chairman and the collegue of Mike Nattrass MEP (Derek Bennett). Good luck with your fight to get in, if you ever feel like coming to UKIP again get in touch or if I can help out or we can help each other out get in touch...

I know Mike and he knows me, so as James Bond said, never say never and I never burn bridges...on a different tcak what the hell they doing at Grange Hill, I know I wanted a safer island but I would have said spend wisley and install traffic lights, I understand Dudley took over from the Highways agaency and that says it all??...single track all the way and when you get to the island you see four bloikes working half way up Grange Hill??..this is why I say we nee public scrutiny committees on council decisions, meanwhile we take it all lkie morons??..and I and others are not morons??--Why not try my idea of an Alliance in your wards, presently people try issues on their own and are only laffed at??-it could be a new and modern way to tackling our issues that are otherwise ignored?-we need new ways and that's for certain?...okay where's your meeting gonna be then, I like to listen??

This is my letter to STOURBRIGDE NEWS BY THE WAY?...I would hope that this newspaper prints this letter to the people in the
CLENT DIVISION, which comprises of Old Frankley, Hunnington, Romsley, Clent,
Hagley and Belbroughton wards. I would like to advise that the Clent
Alliance has now been formed in Romsley village. This is an action group
entirely formed from villagers only that feel that they do not get their
monies worth from the councils that purport to supply with public services.
We are presently dealing with, pot holes, floods, bus services, cctv for
post offices, sewerage in the village of Romsley, Frankley and Hunnington,
which is known as the Uffdown Ward.
It is intended to set up more of these action groups in the wards that make
up the Clent Division and for us all to work under the Clent Alliance banner
thus making us a force not to be ignored.
Many times small groups complain of poor public services, increased council
tax when they cannot see why the increase was made and because they are
small, they are ignored by councillors and councils, with six wards under
the banner of The Clent Alliance, we will be strong and councils will have
to take note.
How we will works is that if one action group in any particular ward needs
assistance with let;'s say pot holes not being attended to, then the rest of
the alliance/wards will attract petitions in their thousands, presently you
only see a petition with a few names on that the councils take as a joke,
this new Alliance will make them sit up and take note we are no longer to be
taken lightly with our issues.
Of late we have complained about floods, pot holes, blocked sewers and
completely ignored, many of us losing £thousands, the only time we get
assistance big time is when an election looms like the last we have now
had..all I can say is if wards now come together when we contact them,
councils you had better take note of this new Clent Alliance, for we mean
business and when we pay money for a service we WANT IT!!
Hopefully this letter is printed and gets out to the people in the CLENT
Division and would like people to respond and if interested to set up an
action group in every ward, we are here to help, so contact us via our web
site now... http://clenthillsind
