Give the Tories your vote at your peril!

I quite agree with Tony Barnsley. The Tories talk utter tripe about tax and something else they talk tripe about is saving the NHS.

Why else would he have a secret meeting with ‘Nurses for reform’ medics who want to change the NHS as we know it?

They have branded it a Soviet-style calamity. This group wants to take the NHS and management of hospitals out of public ownership, smash national bargaining for nurses and health workers and allow hospitals to go bust.

This was found out when one of his reformers boasted online about their secret talks. It was what a Tory government might do if ever they got into power.

They will not advertise this in their election manifesto but will keep it quiet while they can drive it through.

Thatcher nationalised everything she could. She had started on the hospitals before they kicked her out, with putting hospital cleaning out to tender and look where that got us.

You go into hospital with something sinple like a corn and come out with MRSA and countless other diseases, because hospitals are not being cleaned properly. Heaven help someone who has to have a serious operation, or even give birth.

I can only suppose the people attending this secret meeting were there with a view of cherry picking the best parts of our NHS.

You can bet your life (and you may do if Cameron and his lot get in) that hospitals and trusts will be sold off to the fat cats of the Tory party.

I know the Health Service gets a lot of abuse from people who come here, who have not paid a penny towards this country, to take advantage of our Health Service and this should be stopped.

These people should pay, the same as when we go abroad we have to have insurance, but you will find that if the Tories get in everyone will be paying – for doctors appointments, doctor visits, operations.

I could go on about what our excellent and wondeful NHS has done for people here – it is second to none.

The Conservatives will soon alter that. The Tories are not for the ordinary people of this country. They are for themselves and their rich cronies.

Vote for them at your peril.

Ah, a bit of good old-fashioned class war. Can't beat it. 'Tories will smash the NHS', I say (the fact that Labour have spent hundreds of billions of pounds on it and still can't get it to work properly is neither here or there, of course!).

Meanwhile, "I could go on about what our excellent and wonderful NHS has done for people here – it is second to none." cries Mrs Garfield.

"Yeah, right!" the French, the Germans and the Canadians muse wrily as they point to Britain's lowly position in the health care league tables.
