HOW fortunate we are to have so many gifted and talented people in the Halesowen area with numerous choral, musical, and drama societies among us.
The Halesowen orchestral concert on December 10 at the Cornbow Hall was a superb evening under the leadership of Martin Leigh.
The orchestra’s repertoire has been further enhanced by the arrival of the Steinway grand piano from Himley Hall.
Itwas used at the last concert by a visiting international concert pianist, and I note that at the next concert on March 17 it will again feature in the programme.
To anyone who enjoys classical music, I know that they will be impressed by the enthusiasm and the standard offered at the Cornbow Hall by Halesowen’s very own orchestra.
