Festival was a big disappointment

AT the weekend my family and I were looking forward to celebrating the life and memory of Mary Macarthur. We attended the festival, but how saddened and disappointed we were.

The march itself was just an excuse for some people to demonstrate against the Government.

Children from schools were carrying banners and they must have felt very intimidated by these people and the anti-government chanting that they were shouting.

The entertainment at Bearmore Park (questionable) included a live band whose female vocalist used explicit lyrics wholly unsuitable for a family audience.

I will end this by saying that we will not be attending next year.
