In Leasowes Park, Beechwater Dam needs repairing. The cascade and pool below have gone altogether and the pool below is in dire condition. And there is so much more.
We are very lucky to have two lovely valleys, superb trees and magnificent views.
We were very lucky to get an £1.8 million grant from the HLF for repairs to William Shenstone's vision.
Having spent £1.2 million, there must be some superb plans for the Dudley officers to explode into action, enthusiasm and effort to restore this magnificent grade I landscape. Even years of planning must now show results or the officers should resign their jobs.
I hope our MP and the HLF will check up and get some results from the £1.8 million.
I think even I could have achieved more and I'm not on £50k plus per year, which I presume some of the Dudley officers are.
