Did anyone see car vandalism?

On Tuesday February 19 I parked my car on Somerfield car park behind the police station in Stourbridge.

I always use this car park as it is convenient for the town and you are allowed 45 mins FREE which I find very helpful if you only need to pop to the post office or to pick up a prescription from the chemist.

There is usually a very nice parking attendant on duty who has got to know his 'regulars'and I feel safe to leave my car there.

Unfortunately for me, on Tuesday February 19 I parked my car at 3.20pm and went into Somerfield to do my usual shopping.

When I came back to my car at 3.55pm I found that it had been VANDALISED with a sharp instrument on every panel on BOTH sides of my car.

If this had been an accident by someone else parking or even a person with a pushchair perhaps I feel the damage would only have been superficial and only on one side of my car.

So I presume from this that this was a calculated, vindictive attack on my property, causing over £1,000 of damage.

Does this person have a personal grudge against ME or the fact that I have a NICE car which I work hard for all week.

NO ONE gave it to me. I am not on benefits, I do not have my poll tax paid for me or my rent.

I work for what I have got and am very proud of that so for some LOW LIFE just to think it is OK to vandalise my 'pride and joy' for no reason beggars belief!

If I have upset someone in any way I would have preferred to have had a confrontation 'face to face'.

The incident has been reported to the police and Somerfield has a CCTV recording of that afternoon.

SO WATCH OUT.. YOU MAY BE IN FOR A VISIT SOON.

If anyone saw anything on TUESDAY 19 Feb would you tell the Police please and perhaps the next time this person decides that he/she dislikes something they may think twice about it.

Thank you.

L Cutler, Cradley Heath
