Distortion attempts are most revealing

The government in the early 1980's was concerned that so few children from working class homes entered university.

The academic bodies that researched the above is what I quoted; that most working class homes did not have the culture capital to provide the understanding, education or inclination to supply the kind of enrichment that existed in middle class homes (hence so few working class children in the universities).

The object of the research was to see how children from working class families could be given better opportunities to obtain university places.

Hence the decision to test working class children at various stages (from infancy to teens) in order to see where extra support could be given to help those in need.

Dr Lockyer, by taking part of a sentence out of context and putting his own spin on it, gives us an insight on how his fascist mind works.

I was not praising or disparaging the working class: I was merely stating the results of a government research project.

I notice that others have recognised Dr Lockyer's dishonest criticisms and his attempts to cover them up by being even more unpleasant. By his continually sneering at me and attempting to distort my words, Dr Lockyear can only be viewed with the contempt this fascist deserves.
