Together for 66 wonderful years
I am writing reference the article in the Halesowen News (March 13) regarding tea dances at Cornbow Hall.
I would like to correct any impression that may be given that my wife and I (Nancy and Bill Baker) met and married as a result of tea dance.
We attended tea dance on the first day March (Thursday) 1983.
At this time we had already been married for 43 happy years and went on to celebrate 66 wonderful years until my wife passed away November 24 2006.
I thought I would just give you the true facts and dispel any false impressions.
Bill Baker,
Halesowen
