Well, Halesowen still has no Labour voice on Dudley Council.
If I had been elected to represent Belle Vale I would be addressing these issues: The traffic chaos on Whittingham Road particularly on school and college days and on Old Hawne Lane on match days.
What has happened to the buses?
What is to happen to the Cradley High School site?
Is it advisable to build new homes on the flood plain of the Stour?
What happened to all the promises to improve Highfield Lane Park?
Is it true that Dudley Council is cutting the funding for Police Community Support Officers?
I'm sure the 1,037 Labour voters in Belle Vale who kept their eye on the local issues rather than the national will be holding this Conservative Council to account.
I would like to offer my thanks to all of you who voted for me.
Hilary Bills, Belle Vale Labour candidate
