THE Greyfriars, in Worcester city centre will be hosting an exhibition of clocks through the ages.
The National Trust owned merchant’s house in the heart of the city is hosting the exhibition of Historical Clocks by the Midlands branch of the British Horological Institute from 1pm to 4.30pm on Saturday 11 July.
Visitors can find out more about the clocks in the house, dating from the 17th to 19th century. Children can also follow the family clock trail around the house.
Custodian Rachel Mora-Bannon said: “We have a large number of clocks in the house, ranging from our Grandfather clock to smaller timepieces.”
“This exhibition will give a fascinating insight into time and the history of clocks.”
The kiosk will be open, weather permitting, so visitors will be able to relax with a drink and slice of cake in the delightful surroundings of the walled garden.
