THE Sunday Times Style in the City, which runs from September 24 to 26 is set to take over Birmingham’s city centre as the fashion brigade comes to town including makeover maestro Gok Wan, as he hosts his unique ‘style sessions’.

For three days, this truly unique fashion and beauty event is set to grip the UK’s second city.You’ll be whisked around a multitude of exclusive events held at destinations across the city each offering you a different style experience. You’ll be styled, pampered, made-over and inspired by the industry’s most respected hair stylists, designers, beauticians and retailers.

Bullring is bringing you Gok’s style sessions where fashion guru Gok Wan will be dispensing his own brand of style wisdom in St Martin’s Square –sure to have fashion-savvy city-goers in a fluster!

“Whether you are looking to transform a look from day to night or update an old favourite garment with a few well chosen accessories, my ‘style sessions’ will provide an easy-to-understand guide to stylish dressing.

"My philosophy is that everyone has the right and the capability to look and feel great, and I want to share this with everyone at Style in the City,” says Gok.

The fashion saviour will be hosting his 50-minutes style sessions where he will transform nine lucky locals to create an on-trend and glamorous new look. Using clothes, shoes and accessories from Selfridges, the Channel 4 favourite will wow the city’s fashionistas with inspirational style tips, innovative ways to update your look plus one-to-one fashion consultations.
