HAGLEY Cricket Club defeated Old Elizabethans last Sunday in the semi-final of the Worcestershire T20 County Cup to book a final clash with Halesowen at Worcestershire's New Road on Sunday, September 4.
The final will form part of Worcestershire captain Daryl Mitchell's benefit event with the game beginning at 10am.
This will be followed at 2pm by a Worcestershire Legends vs Warwickshire Legends contest.
In this T20 competition, also known as the Canterbury Cup, Hagley have already beaten Beacon, who are flying high in the Staffordshire premier league, as well as Old Hill and Old Elizabethans from the Birmingham League. While their league status would make them underdogs again against Halesowen they will go into the final full of confidence for the showpiece T20 final for Worcestershire affiliated clubs.
