CRADLEY Town's continual climb up the West Midland League Premier table shows no sign of stopping.

The Hammers walloped Wellington Amateurs 4-1 to make it eight wins from 11 games since manager Andy Wyton took charge.

Geoff Hill helped himself to a hat-trick while Lewis Clarke lashed home Cradley's fourth goal.

Wyton was more concerned over the fact Cradley had conceded a goal and claimed: "We keep switching off and you can't do that against the better sides, otherwise you get caught."

But Wyton refuses to take any credit for Cradley's current turnaround in form .

He insisted: "It's all down to the players. They've all bought into what we're trying to do.

"We've given them a platform to work from, but it's the players and the application they produced. You can't knock people when they're giving you 100 per cent."

Cradley will look to continue their winning streak this Saturday when they entertain rock bottom Gornal Athletic at Beeches View Avenue, the visitors having yet to pick up a single point from 19 games.

But Wyton claimed: "There will be no let-up. Gornal have improved over the last few games and nobody wants to be the first side to lose to them."

Wyton has added former Dudley Town player Grant Joshua and Tipton Youth's Carl Whyte to his squad.

He's also brought in Chris Young from Kidderminster Harriers Academy plus Blue Academy player Ainsley Stevens.
