CLUB general manager Leon Murray says Tividale must find consistency if they want to climb away from the Midland Football League Premier Division dropzone.

Dale will look to end the year on a high when they travel to Heanor Town this Saturday.

They will then host promotion chasing Alvechurch at The Beeches two days later on Monday, January 2 (3pm kick-off).

Murray has been encouraged by Tivi's recent form and thinks their chances of survival could come down to their ability to string a host of wins together as the campaign progresses.

He said: "Consistency is going to be key. We have some tough games coming up but anything we get will be a bonus.

"You can definitely see the progress we are making. We have more confidence and have some talented players.

"We perhaps need to improve our league know-how as well.

"Everyone at the club is 100 per cent behind (manager) Dave King and we are confident we can get out of trouble.

"There is not much between all the sides around us in the league."
