YELTZ boss John Hill says he is working hard to bring new signings to the club.

One of the first challenges facing Hill, assistant Matt Clarke and new first team coach Graham Hyde will be how they replace the goals of Kaiman Anderson.

The prolific forward has now been recalled early by parent club Shrewsbury after bagging 17 goals on-loan at the Grove this season.

That brings to an end Anderson's second loan spell with the club. Overall he has made 56 appearances scoring 26 goals, his latest coming just a few days ago in the 4-2 defeat to Buxton.

Also moving on this week was Jordan Goddard. He has chosen to move to Leamington after the Southern Premier League side made an approach.

Hill says he is working to replace the duo, especially star man Anderson, adding: "The situation with Kaiman is totally out of our hands. We thought we'd have him until the end of the month but that wasn't to be.

"While to timing isn't great we can only thank Shrewsbury and Kaiman for his time here. He has been a great lad to have around the place and we all hope he can go on and score goals at a higher level.

"As soon as Leamington came in for Jordan we always knew it would be difficult to keep him as well.

"We are fully aware that the squad needs adding to and we are working hard to do that."

Hales will be aiming to return to winning ways when they host Whitby Town at the Grove this Saturday (3pm kick-off).

Hill said: "It was a disappointing defeat against Buxton because of how badly we defended. They were forced into making changes and it was those subs that changed the game.

"Whitby will be just as tough but it is one we are looking forward to."

Yeltz lost 2-1 in a friendly game against Kidderminster Harriers on Tuesday night as Hill got to assess a few fringe players and trialists ahead of the weekend.
