ENTRIES are coming in fast for the Stourbridge Stumble as the town’s running club get set to host two events over the next two months.

The Stumble is the first of Stourbridge Running Club’s events and the challenging 10km multi-terrain run takes place on Saturday, August 5, at 6.30pm.

The main race, which starts and finishes in Mary Stevens Park and takes in the fields and hills over Hagley and Churchill has been going for many years and is very popular within the running community. It also incorporates a 3.5km fun run.

On Saturday, September 16, the club will host the inaugural Bridge' to 'bridge via 'port. This is a brand new ultra-race – going 34 miles from Bridgnorth to Stourbridge along the River Severn to Stourport and the Staffs and Worcs Canal to the finish at the Bonded Warehouse.

The race can be run solo or as a team of four. There will be a bar at the finish for runners and spectators to rehydrate.
