National League rugby returned at Stourton Park for a derby game between Stourbridge and Luctonians.
With major work on the main pitch the game was being played on the second pitch with the fans right on the touch line.
Among the new signings making a home debut was George Morgan from Kidderminster who scored in Stour's impressive opening day win away at Otley.
Another local signing is Steve Leach from Old Halesonians who started at number 12.
It was tight and tough with plenty of aggression, after 25 minutes the score stood at Stour 8 Lucs 3.
Stour benefited from a penalty try but Lucs hit back with a score of their own on e left.
At half time it was Stourbridge 16 Luctonians 10.
Heading into the last quarter and it was Stour 25 Lucs 20.
Final whistle and Stour, despite living dangerously and defending on their line get the win.
Final score Stour 30 Luctonians 25.
