MANAGER John Hill will again face a selection headache this weekend as Halesowen Town's injury list continues to grow.

The Yeltz will go to second-from-bottom side Rushall Olympic with a depleted side following a 3-2 home defeat to Coalville on Tuesday night.

That loss followed last Saturday's exit from the FA Trophy with a 1-0 defeat at Grantham.

Despite suffering back-to-back league and cup defeats, it's the amount of players on the Grove treatment table that is causing the most concern.

Asa Charlton and Enock Ekongo both hobbled away from the Coalville clash to add to injuries to Roland Agbor, Cameron Steele, Dom Smith, Jack Kelly and Brad Lewis.

Oli Finney was also unavailable for recent games and he has now returned to Crewe after his loan spell ended.

However, there was better news this week after fellow loanee Dan Udoh extended his stay at Old Hawne Lane for a further month.

He will also look to pair up with new arrival Ethan Jones. The former Stourbridge and Shrewsbury forward netted on his debut against Coalville and is working towards match sharpness after arriving from Southport.

Hill was disappointed not to get something from Tuesday night's game but is facing an anxious few days before discovering who will be fit for the trip to Rushall.

He said: "It was frustrating because we should have got something from the game.

"It was another case of making errors and poor decision making.

"We were good going forwards but the bigger issue at the moment is the amount of injuries we have.

"We decided to have a non-contact training session last week because of all the injuries and even then Brad Lewis pulled a hamstring playing head tennis. When that happens you know it's not going your way.

"We are now up to double figures and we'll just have to assess them all before Saturday.

"Rushall is a tough place to go and I wish we have a fully fit squad to pick from. If we did I think we are a match for anyone on our day. We'll do a headcount and go there and have to battle because it's a big game."

Hill also revealed he had to take Dan Udoh off after an hour against Coalville on the instruction of the Crewe medical team.

He explained: "Udoh has suffered with concussion and we were told by the Crewe medical team that he can only play for an hour.

"The last thing we want to do is take him off but we have to respect the wishes of his parent club. We don't want to harm the relationship we have with them.

"It is really good to have Dan for another month though."
