TIVIDALE are now facing their biggest week of the season according to boss Dave King.

Tivi are still chasing a top two finish in the West Midlands Premier League and took a big step towards that with three wins last week.

Ben Birch's strike handed them a 1-0 win over Bewdley last Saturday to follow up quick-fire victories over Hereford Lads Club and Bridgnorth.

The busy spell continues this week as they look to extend their unbeaten league run, which now stands at seven.

They are set to welcome Malvern on Tuesday before going to Shifnal on Thursday and Smethwick this Saturday.

King said: "It was a great nine points for us. It has been a really good week.

"The game against Hereford Lads Club was tougher than expected but we did well to pull it back.

"We then did well at Bridgnorth and played some more good stuff against Bewdley.

"This week is now the biggest of our season because it's when we'll be playing the games in hand on the teams above us.

"We want to finish in the top two and a good week now could make all the difference."

Dale have no major injuries concerns but will be without Joe Lawley this weekend after his sending off at Bewdley.
