DUDLEY Heathens launch a hectic spell with the short trip to Stoke on Saturday for their Staffordshire Cup second leg clash (7pm).

Then former Cradley club hold a narrow four-point lead from the first leg at Monmore a month ago and know they’re in for a tough test at Loomer Road.

Former Stoke man Tim Webster has been brought in as a guest replacement for unavailable skipper Adam Roynon, who is riding for his Premier League club Workington.

Boss Will Pottinger said: “The most important thing is that the boys get some valuable track time and build up some momentum in this meeting.

“Of course we want to win but also we want to get some laps in so we are fresh for Sunday’s Knockout Cup trip to Buxton.”

Heathens are back at their adopted Monmore Green home next Tuesday, May 8, for the return Knockout Cup leg with Buxton.

STOKE: Ashley Birks, Jaimie Pickard, Tony Atkin, Rhys Naylor, Richie Worrall, Ross Walter, Ben Reade.
