Young stars cruise snooker league

TWO young cue stars have been celebrating after taking the Dudley and District Snooker League by storm.

Declan Cook and Sam Bircher both play for Paul Hunter Foundation teams, based at Bilston’s Golden Cue club.

Cook was the league’s individual champion in the open age category, while Bircher took the prizes for most wins, most improved player and won the under-25s competition.
