JOAN Clarke led home Stourbridge Running Club’s women at the Midland Cross-Country Championships.
The course at Stafford Common was a mix of snow and mud but it didn’t stop Clarke, who completed it in a time of 35 minutes 11 seconds.
Natalie Dellar was the second Stour woman home in 39.11, while Ruby Ooi finished in 56.28.
For the men, Pete Walters was first home in 47.02. Colin Downey also ran strongly.
