SHAUN Perry has persuaded Worcester Warriors scum coach Ceri Jones to put his Dudley Kingswinford players through their paces prior to their pre-season programme.
Perry played alongside Jones when the pair featured at Sixways. Jones commenced his career with hometown club Newport and then switched to Harlequins, where he was capped twice by Wales, before moving onto Worcester.
Perry said: “Ceri can help advise the boys on their technique along with the dark arts of front row play. “His knowledge will be invaluable having played at the highest level.”
The DK’s host Cardiff Metropolitan in a pre season friendly on August 17 followed by a visit from National Three Midlands side Sutton Coldfield on August 21.
That is followed by trips to Stockport and Huddersfield, both relegated from National Two North last term, before kicking off the league season at Leicester Lions on September 7.
