SALE Harrier Matt Bond ran away with victory in the Stourbridge Stumble as he came almost two-and-half minutes clear of his closest rival.
Bond was clocked a rapid 32.59 for the 10-kilometre multi-terrain event, while Wolverhampton and Bilston’s Russ Jones finished second in 35.25.
Jones’ Wolverhampton team mate Danny Brazier (37.06) was third.
There was another huge entry of veteran runners with Carson Tweedie the first Over-40 runner back in 40.10 to take sixth place overall.
Craig Watters from Oak Park picked up the Over-45 prize in 40.26, while Steve Smith of Kidderminster and Stourport was the first Over-50 back in 40.35.
Bournville Harrier Linda Howell was the first woman home in 42.59 with team-mate Sarah Rock the first woman veteran runner to finish in 44.42.
