KINGSWINFORD cycling star Hannah Payton rubbed shoulders with Britain’s best when contesting the Women’s Prudential RideLondon Grand Prix.
Payton was part of an 80 strong field that included the Olympic gold medal winning pursuit team of Laura Trott, Danielle King and Jonanna Rowsell in addition to the powerful Australian professional Orica AIS squad.
Only 47 riders finished the race following a couple of untimely crashes, but Payton, who was representing Team CTC managed to avoid the danger and came home in 19th place.
Payton was back in action the following day when she finished second in the RC Omega curcuit race.
