COOMBS Wood collapsed to 107 all out in a low scoring contest with close rivals Enville in Worcestershire League Division Two.
Only Richard Colwall made any impression with the bat when scoring 43 as Coombs Wood struggled for runs, especially against the late introduction of Carl Bust who bagged four for 10 from 3.2 productive overs.
Enville didn’t have matters all their own way in reply before reaching a winning 111-6, Rad Ganesh grabbing figures of 5-35 for Coombs Wood.
n Romsley were reduced to a six wicket reverse against Himbleton in Division Three.
That was after Romsley reached 152 all out in 42.2 overs in the face of some accurate bowling by George Clifton with two for 30 and Paul Guy who took two for 15 before Sam Jenkins mopped up the tail with four for 54.
Himbleton then raced to 153 for four in reply, Alistair Protty plundering 67 while Jem Rose struck 37 not out.
This Saturday, Romsley visit Alveley and then play host to Stourbridge Social on Monday.
