End of Sutton's marathon quest in sight

ACTION man James Sutton moved a step closer to completing his remarkable quest of eight half marathons in as many weeks.
He successfully negotiated the seventh stage by contesting the Oxford half marathon when clocking one hour 44 mins to finish 894th out of a 3,601 field of runners.
James, who is a member of Stourbridge Running Club, is bidding to raise funds for his charity LAM Action.
Club mate Adam Harris took part in the Caesar’s 50 Ultra race in Aldershot which he completed in 10 hours and 50 minutes, while Joan Clarke was timed at 12 hours and 20 mins.
Stourbridge had a magnificent turnout of 38 runners taking part in the Great Birmingham Run.
Steve Brown led the club home in one hour 22 mins to claimed 122nd spot from a field of 15,000 runners.
He was chased home by Adrian Hingley in one hour 26 mins with Robert Woodward and Christopher Blake locked together for third place in one hour 28 mins.
