PENSNETT United pulled off a 5-0 win over Bush Athletic to book their place in the semi-finals of the Dudley and Cradley League’s Joe Stanton Memorial Trophy competition.

The result proved a real upset as Bush were holders of this competition.

A Joe Lawley goal, struck on the half hour, separated the sides at half time.

Pensnett produced a second goal on 50 minutes through Shawn Saunders and from that point, there was only one winner.

Andrew Parsons plundered a third with Lawley making it 4-0 before Arron Woodall completed the scoring.

Lloyds are also through to the final four following a 5-2 success over Coseley Tavern.

That was after Lloyds had raced into a 3-0 lead through Rhys Harper, Ashley Rollinson and Lee Witts.

Steve Hillman clawed a goal back for Coseley when he scored direct from a free kick and it was game on when Adam Westwood made it 3-2.

Lloyds reasserted themselves and sealed victory with further goals from Jason Witts and a second from Rollinson.

Halesowen Members have to replay their tie with Malt Dudley after their clash finished 4-4 following a spell of extra time.

Britannia’s quarter final with Bunch was postponed following a waterlogged pitch.

IN the Premier Division, King William clinched a 5-0 win over Dudley Borough.

Two goals from Daniel Bews and further strikes from Terry Cooper-Homer, Simon Pritceses and Charlie Nettleford did the trick.

Kings margin of victory would have increased further but Borough goalkeeper Chris Hill produced a string of fine saves.
