JORDANNE Whiley bagged three wheelchair tennis titles after competing in back-to-back tournaments.

The talented Halesowen star won the women’s doubles title at the inaugural USN Bolton Arena Indoor contest last weekend.

Whiley retained her women’s singles title at the North West Challenge in Preston in mid-February, where she dropped just five games in three singles matches, partnering Colombia’s Johana Martinez to win the women’s doubles.

She made it back-to-back doubles titles when she teamed up with her London 2012 bronze-medal winning partner Lucy Shuker in Bolton. The duo dropped just four games in their quarter-final and two games in their semi-final before being awarded a walkover in the final when their German opponents withdrew.

The world number six also lost to Shuker in the semi-finals of the Bolton singles. Whiley will now prepare for back-to-back tournaments in the USA in the second half of March.

“After such a positive time in Australia and Preston, Bolton wasn’t the best for me,” said Whiley.
