CRADLEY stormed to a comprehensive 68-21 win over Scunthorpe to get their National League campaign off to a perfect start.
The rampant Heathens ran riot against an inexperienced Stags side to triumph by a club record 47 point margin.
The visitors recorded an unprecedented ten 5-1s whilst accounting for 14 race winners - and boss Will Pottinger was delighted to see his side continue their bright start to the 2014 season.
He said: "It was another good meeting for us and it should give everyone a confidence boost - it was a professional performance and everyone rode well.
"We've got a tough test at Coventry next Monday but we are all really up for that meeting and hopefully we can make it two wins out of two with another win there."
Middle order man Tom Perry stormed to a faultless maximum to lead the Heathens - whilst fellow heat-leaders Paul Starke and Steve Worrall also went unbeaten to form a formidable top three.
They received tremendous support from Nathan Greaves who continued his promising form with a classy display - only missing out on a paid maximum of his own when he made a well-deserved heat 15 appearance.
Teenage ace Max Clegg also impressed to form a dominant top five - whilst reserve Matt Williamson and Danny Phillips once again bolstered the lower order with strong showings at reserve.
