HIMLEY captain Greg Wright says the pressure will be off his players when they take on league leaders West Bromwich Dartmouth this weekend.

Wright was left frustrated when last weekend's weather prevented them taking on Kidderminster Victoria at Stourbridge Road but is keen to build on their current form when they come up against the current Birmingham Premier League table-toppers.

He said: "It was frustrating not to be able to play last weekend because we are playing some good cricket and are in reasonable form. It was an opportunity to build on that and you always want to play your home games.

"However, the pressure is off us next weekend so we just need to go out there and continue to get the basics right and see where it takes us.

"Everyone will be expecting them to win and they need to keep picking up victories if they want to stay top. We can go there without any expectations."

Wright again praised his team's efforts in recent weeks that has seen them unbeaten in their last three contests despite still sitting bottom of the league.

"We now have the right mentality compared to the start of the season. We just need to keep believing and it shouldn't be long until that win comes," he added.

"We know all about West Bromwich Dartmouth and have a lot of respect for them. We can go there without the spotlight on us and that could be important factor."
